We strongly encourage attendees to join us for the full two‑day programme, as this ensures meaningful contribution to discussions and engagement across all themes. Given that the conference is fully catered and places are limited, we ask that participants commit to attending both days where possible. Please indicate your availability when you RSVP so we can plan hospitality and seating accordingly.

Yes. All keynote sessions, plenary panels, and Q&A’s will be recorded and shared via our digital platforms after the Conference. These sessions will not be live-streamed.
We will also be conducting on-site interviews with guests who wish to participate.

Attendance at the New Enlightenment Conference is by invitation only, reflecting the curated nature of the event and the complimentary hospitality provided. As we approach the conference date, a limited number of additional places may become available. Should this happen, we will review our waiting list and contact selected individuals. If you wish to be considered, please register your interest using the form on our contact page.

If you have received an invite and you would also like to suggest an additional delegate, please indicate this in the form on our contact page and a member of the Panmure House team will be in touch. While we cannot guarantee they will be offered a place , we will do our best to accommodate requests where possible.

The Balmoral Hotel
The Balmoral offers accessible five-star facilities, including rooms designed for guests with reduced mobility, adapted bathrooms, and walk-in showers. The venue is well equipped for meetings and events, with staff available to assist as needed.National Museum of Scotland
The museum is highly accessible, with step-free access via the main and tower entrances, lifts to all floors, and accessible toilets, including a Changing Places facility. Free wheelchair loans, designated parking on Chambers Street, and assistance dog access are also available.Panmure House

We kindly ask that guests notify us in advance if the external platform lift will be required. This allows us to prepare for your arrival and helps avoid any delays outdoors — particularly important given Scotland’s changeable weather.

There is no fee to attend the New Enlightenment Conference. As places are limited, attendance is offered by invitation,
Attendees are responsible for covering their own flights, accommodation, and any additional travel-related expenses.
